Of all people it had to be Giroud that scored the 4th. Beasty will be jizzing his knickers here later while typing and telling us all that Giroud now belongs up there with Messi, Ronaldo and Suarez. :D

Ozil's crap eh Beechy.... Arsenal played some fantastic football yet again, which Liverpool couldn't cope with, and tbh the game could and should of bin 6-2...And are you still going say you'd av "sicknote" Sturridge over Girouddddddddd..:razz:EASY EASY EASY..

Actually, if you remember earlier on in this thread when Giroud wasn't in a purple patch I actually said that I like him and thought that he was somewhat under-rated. He'll never be world-class because he has too many games where he'll squander chance after chance, but at the moment he's obviously playing with bags of confidence and looks like he's made for the hustle and bustle of the EP.

Still wouldn't swap him for a fit Daniel Sturridge though. ;)

And yes, Ozil still hasn't lived up to the hype in my opinion, though he's clearly being played out of his best position.

Looking at Sturridges Wiki, hes only had 2 good seasons in terms of appearances..Last season (29) and 2012 season (30) with Chelsea. The other 9 league seasons he hasn't got past 20 league games, in fact, theirs only 1 other season where hes played more than 15 times in a season in the league, and that was 2009.(16)..You cant deny his goal scoring record, which is nearly 1 in 2 career league goals, but hes only managed 55 leagues games in 3 seasons for Liverpool, which surely isn't good enough, compared to Girouds 90 games. And now they look certain to miss out on Champ League football, its going be almost impossible to attract a decent striker down Anfield, which imo they need bad..

And before you say, i hate Liverppol blah blah blah, they dont bother me, they never have, apart from the Michael Owen smash and grab Fa Cup Final..;)

The system we play we don't need to try and attract a world-class striker at the club. We just need somebody able who can fill in for Sturridge. I'd like to see Liverpool sign Berahino from West Brom, who's also got bags of pace, is still improving and has a goal in him. Even without Champions League football it's still a big jump from West Brom to Liverpool. But I wouldn't want to pay anymore than 15 million for him, they'd likely want 20 million and beyond.

As Arsenal will also no doubt go in for Sterling should other clubs make a move, who you will no doubt then become suddenly more of a fan of haha, I'd be more than happy to take Walcott plus cash our way.

But obviously you do need a world class striker, as you had 1 last season, and you came within a whisker of winning the league. This season, you haven't got a world class striker, and your fighting to finish 7th with the like of Southampton n Spurs..

Previously, you said Sterling can become a world class player, yet you would trade him in for our very own "sick note", Theo...
