Allen has been no worse than Ozil, only he cost considerably less.

 

Big praise for Allen there..on a par with a player who has been t0$$ for most of the season Cost is irrelevant, it's performance that counts and anyway it's condemnation of of Liverpool that they rely on comparatively cheap midfeilders..this is Liverpool, it's rather sad for me to see them unable to come even close to attracting the best!!!!

The fact is that he's been a flop at Arsenal as of yet. Nowhere near the level he was at when at Madrid, perhaps to do with the fact that he often plays like he doesn't really want to be there, or at least playing out of his favoured position. Most Arsenal fans would agree that he's been toss in general for you, but I'm not surprised that someone who think Olivier Giroud is a world-beater would have a much different view.

I never said Allen was or is good, just that Ozil's performances for an apparent 'world-class' player that cost over 40 million haven't been any better.

Beechy, he's only played 40 prem games, and in that time they've won the FA cup. I read somewhere, since he's arrived at Arsenal, he's got the 2nd most assists in the Premier League. And no, I said, I wouldn't swop Giroud for Sturridge..Girouds the better player..
