Premier League 14/15 (Not just Liverpool talk)

Ridiculous from Gerrard, goes without saying. United played extremely well for the first half an hour and you have to give credit for that, which I will do although Rodgers got the midfield selection completely wrong, but it was a monumental effort from Liverpool once down to 10 men and the players on the pitch couldn't have given any more.

Liverpool now need to beat Arsenal at Emirates next week to give themselves a chance as if they do they'll only be 3 points behind the Gunners. But today was a huge loss and a massive opportunity missed.

How is Phil Jones in the England squad for the upcoming fixtures? He's woeful.

Skrtel needs to be dealt with as well, after that cowardly stamp on De Gea at the end of the game.

He left his leg in, big deal. Happens all the time, only some players make more of a meal of it just like De Gea did than others. Herrera's tackle that led to the Gerrard stamp was every bit as cynical, as was humpty dumpty head Phil Jones lashing out that got him a yellow card.

Play like you did today, and Arsenal will win quite comfortably. It'll take something special for Liverpool to finish to 4 now..

And how the hell does Joe Allen get in the Liverpool side, I cant see what he brings. Awful player..

But if Arsenal play how they did at home to Monaco, a very ordinary side, then Liverpool will have every chance. Arsenal aren't the 'Invincibles' you seem to still believe they are, and are very beatable. It will simply come down to who plays best on the night as there isn't much between the two teams. Allen has been no worse than Ozil, only he cost considerably less.

I don't see what he offers either' date=' wasting Gerrard and Lucas and taking Lallana off.[/quote']

I'm not a big Allen fan myself but he more than played his part in the win against City and didn't deserve to be dropped just because Gerrard was available again.
