New Signing?

Not fussed about this one. On his game Lines can do the box to box bit, he just needs the licence to do it, which in fairness Page seems to be giving him.

Agree with others who aren't bothered in the slightest that he's not signing.

 

As for the description of him being 'box to box' (as every Sentinel article about this has labelled him), he doesn't seem to have any end product in the opposition's box, looking at his record.

 

Also, for someone that has been without a club for 5 months to suddenly have "many other clubs" (to quote Page) interested in him is very strange. I'm glad that Vale have obviously not met his wage demands........with so many other clubs to choose from ( :rolleyes:) he should have no problem getting what he wants!

Yep, and the most shocking thing about Henderson was that we swapped Bob Newton for him! That must have been the worst decision that McGrath ever made in his managerial career.

He scored 7 in 27 Third Division games.

 

What about some of the players we had when we were scraping the barrel at the wrong end of Division Four?

 

And what of the likes of Charnock, Steggles, Wilock, Geoghaghon, Slater and Holwyn?
