First leg of the October Home Treble, it is possible that 9 points could be won, certainly 7 look a reasonable target against the form of our opponents, but football is not straight forward. Here's hoping in a crucial month, Yeovil, Scunny, and Orient to bite the dust at The Vale.

Smile, man, smile! You obviously do need drugs to sedate you until the end of the season, when you will see that we are in Division 1 for the next campaign.;)

We have to believe..

These are 3 games we can reasonably expect to win IF we play to our potential and continue the improvements we have been seeing.

If we pick up 3 against Yeovil then I see no reason why we can't get a decent points haul in the other games. Lose and its a nailbiter!!!!

Where are the 3 teams in the league at present? Surely not impossible.

Important game this one & we really need a victory with PNE (A) in our next away game. I think RP really needs a minimum of 7 points out of the next 5 games to warrant landing the job. Anything more and I think the job's his at least until the end of the season, anything less and I think Norm will be holding interviews in November.

Be surprised if theirs 4k for this one. If we don't win this one then surely Smurf has got bring a manager in. But no doubt people will keep saying give him time.... Things haven't even improved under Page that much, so why doesn't Smurf realise that and just go get someone good before its to late.

Smurf is a man of his word & he's told RP he's got until the end of the month so that's what he'll get. Don't how you can say things haven't improved we've got 4/9 points rather than 0/15 previously & we are playing better. Saturday is an important game though as it's the difference between 7/12 pts (good) and 4/12 (average/poor).

Hard to select an eleven for this one as not sure how to encorporate Dodds into the side without putting someone in the side that perhaps isn't worth a place yet. As for the defence?? God knows. I think we'll sneak a win though and am hoping for our first clean sheet of the season. 1-0 Vale, Williamson off the bench to score the winner.
