Unravelling at Crewe ?

Beaten at home again 3 nil by Rochdale Calvin Andrew on the score sheet ! No additions in the transfer window a friend of mine who supports Crewe says it is shocking truly shocking, no clue, tactically naive and apparently Davies stood there tonight drinking coffee looking as though he hadnt got a care in the world.

Hope its like that when we turn up.

There is no way Davies should be blamed. As was commented on RS there isn't a manager in the world that can build a half decent team on the ridiculous budget that Crewe' directors allow.

The problem with the 'Railroaders' is they keep ploughing all their cash into an outdated youth academy which no longer can bring them in the millions that they used to get. Those days are gone because now the 'Big Boys' can simply skim off all the best players for a derisory fee.

Come on Crewe wake up and smell the coffee. It has been a successful ride for you for so long but the 'gravy train' has shugged out of Crewe Station.

Old Sage. Fully agree with you. However, the Chairman can only sack the manager and not the players, so they usually take the bullet.

He is working hard and trying his best with what he has left. But if the team's heart has been ripped out over several years, then this is what happens. Rock bottom. Players expect to get beaten by teams and that is what happens.

Still think Crewe will be just above the relegation zone come the end of the season. They always come good after christmas, where we go through a bad spell.

Plus OS, the big boys are picking up the really good players far earlier these days, so the players just aren't there for Crewe to develop into superstars.

They might keep the same model and try and gloat about our administrations but they'll be doing it from the Northern Premier

I reckon they've got one of the worst budgets in the entire football league, and I'd bet there's a few in non-league who pay more too. Pay peanuts, get monkeys - essentially they've got a poor L2 squad this season and as a result they're getting rolled over every week.

They've definitely upped their game against us in recent seasons, perhaps a big game is what their players need to spark them into life. I hope not.
