Let us judge him by what he achieves on the field for the Vale not by videos. I wish him well but unless the service and back up from our central midfield improves vastly, I think he is going to struggle. Hope I am wrong.

I'm with those who fear that we way we're parting with brass, someone must be about to jump ship. I can only think of 2 players worth anything and as we're signing strikers, it might be Pope. Can somebody nip down the boozer and check he's still here?

We did need a striker but need a defender more! I thought Duffy and McGivern played well on Saturday they were left very exposed by our midfield and full backs. Dickinson was so poor I half thought Stockley had returned! But we need more cover at the back. Unless MA will switch to 3 at the back like he used to do.

I thought this at first but can't see it as that means playing full backs over wingers. So you'd have to choose Yates/Daniel OR Marshall/Moore... hmmmm

I'm not an ITK but as we speak I'm lead to believe Pope is playing golf, said bids have been made for him but he has not interest in leaving.

I wish I could give you all a good assessment of him, but unfortunately, the only game he played for us in pre-season was against BPA - of which I didn't attend.

 

Whilst he scored a hattrick, he didn't really do anything of note, according to those who went. I'm not sure we were in a position to offer him a contract anyway, irrespective of his injury - given the number of strikers we currently have seven strikers on the books.
