I could be wrong Tosh, but I was sure that John Ridley was sold by Leicester rather than paying an additional payment to the Vale. If I am wrong I will blame it on old age.

I'm fairly sure the scenario you are on about involved Mark Bright, think we got up to 100k for him but in three stages according to appearances, we got £33,333 initially then that was doubled but before the last instalment was due they sold him to Palace just short of whatever the appearance number was.

Funnily enough I had a quick chat with Bob on Facebook last week and that Henderson deal cropped up... Bob didn't want to leave but McGrath insisted on the swap deal... Not one of our best bit of business was it!!
