Dont know but went in Saturday mid afternoon, got served in a couple of mins and was out. Seemed alot of people had done similar and were in the clubshop. Explained to me we had tickets for first 3 home games and then swipe card thereafter. Pretty smooth operation although I did have my receipt which helped.

You collect your ticket on Saturday from the old ticket office so shouldn't interfere with the ticket office in the club shop.

Am I reading this right? A couple of thousand people are going to queue and filter into that tiny structure?

I had an e-mail on Friday saying the uncollected tickets are being posted out tomorrow morning.

If this new arrangement is true, it's a recipe for chaos!

There are about 700 did not wish to risk non delivery with the post as then we would have issues Sat

If fans turn up at 2.55 Sat then yes there will be chaos Collect up to Friday from ticket office exc Tuesday 5 to 7 pm at Old ticket office and 11 to 2pm Sat again at old ticket office

Am I making it to simple ? Smurf

With respect Norman, I live in Birmingham and do not wish to make a midweek trip in order to pick up my season-ticket. I'm sure you'd agree that's not a good use of anyone's time or fuel.

What are these "concerns about post" ? I can understand the worry about ST's being stolen if they are sent out in a large volume, on standard postage and are easily identifiable as ST's. I can definitely understand wanting to save on postage. I can understand that it creates work for the ticket office staff.

It's hard not to think that there never was an intention to post them out. Fair enough (maybe) for the above reasons - but it's very late in the day to go back on what I was told last week.

If this plan must go ahead, I just hope that it's made as painless as possible for those who will have to queue through no fault of their own. All windows open, tickets in alphabetical order for fast retrieval etc.

I was told before I went on holiday that mine would be posted out to reach me in plenty of time - just as it has been done for God knows how many years. Why the change? I'm back from holiday late on Friday and it would be great to see my season ticket there waiting for me but am I now to believe this is not the case?

Sorry if this is the case then it's not good enough. I paid for my ticket months back and asked for it to be posted out at the time and I was assured that it would be.

If the club said from the start they wouldn't be sending ST's by post then fair enough but we were told they would be and now they aren't. In regards to sending ST's by post I have never had any problems as I got mine by post last year. I've also bought tickets from the Vale for away matches and had them posted.
