The Legal Beagle.......Mo's man.

I really liked Kevin as he was very clued up on the Footballing side of things as well as the Commercial aspect. IMHO i think he would be a Great CEO for our Club as a wingman to Smurf.........As he is/was ? a full-time Solicitor i doubt Norman would be prepared to pay his Salary.........But his knowledge and connections within the BIG Clubs in the Midlands i reckon he might have unfolded a gem of a player who would have made us a few bob, or even loan wise..........I personally think a man of his calibre is a must for this Club if we want to progress. Think about it Norman.

I always thought he spoke very well and had a good knowledge of football, players and the law, I'm sure he could do the job very well but I've no idea what he's doing now or if we could afford him or if Smurf would want him?

as I said on another thread I really liked kevin he had a huge amount of experience and expertise in the football legal field, but I think he may be water under the bridge so to speak

it's quite obvious that norman is very much his own man and like him or loathe him leads from the front so i cant see him employing anyone as a CEO and retiring to the boardroom which would be a sensible thing to do given his poor PR skills

I still hope that Norman takes onboard a CEO although the last time this was aired he seemed to reject the need.

However, if he changed his mind, I feel that Kevin would be a great choice.

It's ultimately Norman's choice but I still think that a decent CEO would bring in more than the cost of his wages.

They are my sentiments Rob.......A good CEO could be payed a 'bonus' on his results

whilst i do not believe that smurf would be seriously interested in bringing in a ceo , i do believe that LB would be an excellent choice for that post , for all the reasons already listed. having met and listened to Kevin it would be hard not to be impressed by him . however in no way do i think that a ceo is on smurfs radar.

I liked Kevin; He came on here after we won promotion to congratulate us.

I spoke to him a bit over PM's and he's well placed for the CEO role, he deals with sport and property law.

I remember something about him not being able to do the job at the time because his kid wasn't very well?

I'd be pleased if Vale appointed a CEO, but would like to point out to Norman and the club that myself and a lot of other fans would not be pleased with this choice, or any further involvement of either this man or Mo Chaudry, just as it would not be a good idea for any of the previous Valiant2001 members to get involved again. Mo Chaudry has shown just how fond he is of the club by ignoring it for the last year or two, but that is fine by me and I expect it is ok with most at the club too.

The whole divisive nature and bitterness would be stirred up again, and that would be no good for Port Vale.

No thanks.

I see the other team have arranged a deal with Leek Utd.When Charles Machin and co were trying to form V2001 they arranged a deal with Hanley Economic. These kind of deals would be beneficial to the Vale and a good CEO would be looking into it. Instead Smurf scores a complete own goal with life members. We are just not at the races!Clueless.

Dear Clueless. Please arrange to spend your own money and not the club's
