Can I just add that I genuinely have come round the the view point that what will be, will be. I accept that people Anti and Pro have their own reasons and all in their own way want what is best for the club.

I really hope this is a fair process and like someone made reference to, this doesn't come down to dirty tricks on either side. If its a win one way or the other cleanly, then its time to get on and support the club.

Robbie won't vote. Position is clear and he will not take sides to avoid damage to his PR.

This is all hype over the anti board vote. We spoke to two shareholders with 25k between them that were anti, but will now vote for. It does seem the none bias view is that the board vote is growing and only the hard core members are left in the battle. This is the real shame that the club will split one way or another.

I really want everyone to mark your quote that "Robbie won't vote".

We can all have some jokes on you over the next few days! ;)

If you are right and the Board stays then I fear for the future of the club - but all this and more has been said already.

You think NLV are lying then?

No they are not lying they are basing it on statistics and in fairness we all know they can be worked as people like them. The voting really could be swung by those who never replied to the initial questionnaire.

Just turning a different view point on it - take no reply as they support the board. Say they vote now for the board, then that would make their position fairly safe. Again not saying this is the case, just could possibly happen ... making the stats very different.

Birdy is right that any close vote will just create a messy situation where you have a board only just in power and many upset and angry over what has happened.

PM me their initials and I'll tell you if they were giving you correct information about the number of shares they have.

He did say that the emails are getting to the manager however they are just being deleted

Interesting that because 1) they aren't being sent to the manager and 2) they are clearly not getting deleted. Your friend is talking through his bottom.

Honestly mate if you talk to people away from main users of this site it seems like people are starting to think the current board are doing ok and things are looking up.

Im not saying I agree with this statement, just saying what it seems like. I think part of this is down to the local media who are very positive of the board.

Personally what worries me is how some people are silly enough to try and ruin anything that the club is doing. I thought the idea was to win a vote on a fair and convincing argument for change, not trying to ruin everything and anything that the club is doing? After all we support the same club and the board is something that comes and goes ... well maybe on that one!

I think that this couldn't be further from the truth. I know and know of at least half a dozen people who are of the older generation who don't use the Internet. They all were pro board and pro Bill Bratt up until the board employed Gannon now most of them are of the opinion that V2001 have lost the plot and we need a fresh start in the boardroom.

You make a very good point. So why do the board hide behind a 75% rule.

If more than 51% win either way, the rest should do the correct thing for Port Vale FC and get behind the winners, unite and move on.

I suspect the board won't have the decency to do that, do you?

And you would love all that to be true, wouldn't you?

Contacts in the music industry, eh?

You know as much as me...but at least I admit I know nothing!

Hopefully when they have gone we can all sing from the same sheet roll on next wednesday.

Well I hope they do. The same has to be said for the anti board members on here as well.

One Port Vale and who ever wins we should support. I just hope this all remains civil .. as people are getting very caught up in it all.

So are you a burton Albion fan saying you only go away games and saying you live in the east midlands:ninja:

How you work that out I do not know. For the last 20 years I have been a season ticket holder at the Vale, what living in the East Midlands has got to do with that I do not know. What I was saying is that the current board will get no money off me next season as I will only go to away games. I hope to be at VP with the new board.

TBH I'll be glad when this is all over next week can't come soon enough. I'm frightened and apprehensive by whats on the other side.

Yes I want the board out and and although I'll always support the Vale a vote for the board will mean my visits to Vale Park will be very few and far between. I feel I cant forgive them for all the dirty tricks theyve pulled recently and having the EGM in the middle of the hoilidays and daytime has made me more than ever to mistrust them.

They have tainted my support for the Vale and 48 years after my first match I can't believe they have made me feel this way.

Good Luck to NLV and thank you for all your hard work whatever happens.

If the board win though its really difficult to support something when you know at the end of the season it will result in yet another wasted year of failure.

We have 8 years worth of evidence, a year 9 of this board will be yet another disappointing season. So whats the point?

Lifes too short to waste like this.

That is the problem, the board will not go, they are ruining everything, and building up debts.
