If the board win though its really difficult to support something when you know at the end of the season it will result in yet another wasted year of failure.

 

We have 8 years worth of evidence, a year 9 of this board will be yet another disappointing season. So whats the point?

I think the American investment deal reveals the ambitions of the board irrespective of its financial value. The plan is to to play in the USA against semi professional / college level teams pre season for 10 years. Implication we will be at the level that justifies that calibre of pre season tour - i.e. a mid table 4 tier English league team. ===

This is all hype over the anti board vote. We spoke to two shareholders with 25k between them that were anti, but will now vote for. It does seem the none bias view is that the board vote is growing and only the hard core members are left in the battle. This is the real shame that the club will split one way or another.

I echo that sentiment completely. The only persons vote you can rely on is your own. If everybody thinks that others' vote will do the work then the board will win hands down. Don't let all the hard work be for nothing.

He's given his Vote to the Port Vale supporters though so its the same difference. Robbies vote will be used.

One or two here must be eating a large slice of humble pie. The facts were read out yesterday in the form of an e-mail from Robbie's legal adviser giving the supporters club the right to use his proxy but only after a public meeting was held to gauge the fans wishes. Dave Felstead chaired the meeting in an impeccable way giving all parties the chance to speak and from 325+ people 4 voted in favour of the board. I think that tells it's own story.

The game is up it is time for the board to walk away with some dignity.
