Micky Adams has always been very good at creating a siege mentality in the dressing room, 'us versus them'.

 

When talking about the supporters I generally get the impression that he sees the fans as 'them'.

 

Unfortunately when you get fans who verbally attack him when he tries to do something good, like the micky/jones incident. Can't remember which match it was. You can then sometimes understand his attitude?

I can remember the game you are referring to - Bristol City way, I went at great expense and it was shocking, truly shocking. Micky had a lot to answer to and he didn't, instead he had a strop, he has these little strops now and again, he has too many of them for me but I still love that he's here next season

To be fair, Fleetwood and Burton were both non league clubs, so L1 to them would be like Vale holding their own and fighting for honours in the Championship.
