Come up with a single reason to justify the clause yet?

The £5m is irrelevant here. What is relevant is that Mo was proposing £1.2m to purchase the club - with the loan possibly having to be repaid in full that initial investment could now stand at £3.2m. So, the clause which you see as "valid" could cost the club the best investment opportunity we're ever likely to have. Sorry if I'm not a true Vale fan for not sharing your opinion.

I thought Mo was due to loan the club an additional £3.2 million? My understanding was that this was to pay off all existing debt, therefore what is the prioblem?

if not, and the loan was to be used for other things, then the existing debt would double immediately which is a very bad position for a club of our size to be in IMO, unless someone can explain otherwise.

How has Mo lied? He's offered an initial investment of £1.2 million - that hasn't changed, so how is that lying? When has Mo ever said he will pump in another £2 million immediately?

Hes said many times, 5m. He will borrow the club upto 3.8m to clear the council and other debt if necessary (ie if he cant renegotiate the council to a better rate).

Exactly George. That is what his prospectus says. But it turns out not to be the truth (based on this article). So which is true? The Mo quoted in the article or the one in his prospectus?

I wonder if the same clause is put in the loan from Harlequin. If so that is another £130k to find straight away. All this is designed for a new Board to be seriously handicapped in trying to take the club forward. If they had to pay all this up front then it stands to reason that there is not much left to spend on the playing side, the infrastructure, (the RW suite, the Lorne St Stand) and money for the back room staff to improve the training and scouting side to make forward steps towards an academy. Board members hang your heads in shame in trying to protect your positions.

Remember Mo wants to buy 51% on his own to get control, while the current Board have control with only 28% and that is divided by five people. You work out the maths.

Expect another article with content to match that title. Not the first time the senile has mixed up headlines and content.

Not likely, look at the headline, especially the bold...

"Port Vale: Club on course to overhaul huge losses"

Doesn't look like a mix up to me.

The board have been called out on here many times for telling fibs, no?

I take it you're unable to back up your claim that the repayment-on-takeover clause is "valid" then since you repeatedly keep avoiding the question of how such a clause can possibly be justified as in the best interests of PVFC?

Correct me if i,m wrong but did,nt this council loan get re-financed from the opriginal loanees from Manchester who helped v2001 buy the club....?

If thats the case whats stopping Mo doing the same...re-financing the council loan with an other or indeed himself and servicing the payments with interest back to himself or whoever

People re-finance debt and credit cards all the time its called debt consolidation or would there be massive penalties to settle the debt early??

'lend' not 'borrow'.But not to find 2m straightaway.Like I've already said let's all get a loan from the council .Someone else can pay it back .

So the Harlequin proposed bid has happened then due to the 2-3 week's time period passing. So we have also completed the deal that BB mentioned when the MN failed. The deal that was to be a similar amount of money to what he was offering but WOULD be UP FRONT & IN ONE LUMP SUM.

Why have games been called off,Why do we need plastic pitches. What is wrong with the undersoil heating system that we have?

Why is the club's charter neither here or there when the charter was used as a basis to sell shares, what happened to the voice people would have if they were to buy share's?
