I would take Anthony Gardner or Peter Clarke all day long. Both leaders and ball winners and one of them along with Duffy, Dicko and a new pacy, attacking right back would be brilliant.

 

Martin Paterson alongside Pope would do me nicely as well.

 

Could be anyone really though but im just glad we are being linked with players from a level above.

I think we need to think about our budget!!!!

 

I would have thought if we are serious about keeping some of the players we have they are already on good money! Unless they are prepared to take a good sized cut then PVFC is not the place to be!

Gardner has been out of action for much of last season - surgery on his achilles tendon. He would clearly be a risk.

Isn't Clarke from Southport? Hardly a "move back home" from Huddersfield, unless he was in the same geography class as Robbie Savage.

Cheer up I wasn't expecting to sell anywhere near that many so far I'd say were well on target to match last seasons number if not exceed it especially with all the great incentives Normans giving to the fans (vouchers, 10 game tickets, VIP raffles, payment plan available).

 

Too must pessimism in the Vale fanbase! Norman can't be that bad look where were finishing in League one.
