Slightly off thread but has anyone read Craig bellamys book and how he describes Charlie adams first days training at Liverpool. It's very insightful! Sorry don't have a link.

Is it really true (the whole story, not the bit about that clown Bellamy thinking he was intelligent)...

Why aren't Sjoke on top of the league cos it's the only one that they are ever going to top! When I was younger in the Bycars we would sing 'Dirty, dirty b******s la la la la laa laa. Still very fitting looking at the latest table.

I am completely fed up with trial by television when TV has 2 dimensions and it is impossible to tell whether the action actually took place, but most of all whether it was intentional or not. The referee and his assistants are in a much better position to judge the action on the spot and in real time. Of course the officials make mistakes but nowhere near as many as the supporters and as for the pundits!!! My verdict on Adam (from TV) - not proven.

Good to see the FA are at their consistent best again. Adebayor escapes a ban for the most blatant of elbows on Shawcross, Marriner gave a foul and claims he was happy with his original decision. One rule for one.........

 

Marriner has been guilty of a number of brain farts recently, TP. I'm surprised you're suprised.

Marriner is by far and away the worst ref in the Premier League, and I said that before Saturday's game. If you're a top 5 team and you see he's reffing your game it's time to celebrate.....

 

He's done 3 Man Utd games this season and they've lost the lot!

To be honest I clicked on Page 3 by mistake and saw it and it all came flooding back to me :cry: :angry:. Not bitter in the slightest the hypocricy of the FA has become water of a ducks back. Just strange that in one incident intent doesn't have to be proven whereas the other it's washed over. Seem to recall Rooney getting away with a couple of similar incidents, and Toure of course........

 

Sam Morsy didn't, then again he did do on average one a week!

 

BUT to even it out Steve Foley did! ;)
