In the 1980s Robson was the overrated player and him being taken to the 1986 World Cup when injured a gross mistake. Adams is also a grossly overrated player. When at Liverpool, a team seriously striving, as opposed to Stoke a team aiming for mid table, his contribution was the 50 yard diagonal pass. That was it. He gave the ball way again and again and again. He is is creative Championship level player.

History is history, you opened the door and while I'm on the subject of that era Stoke still owe Vale for all the damage to the corregated metal panels at the back of the Hamil Road Stand :laugh:

At least we bought our stands rather than having them all gifted by the council. Seemingly though they didn't want ours either two years ago either ;)
