Luton Town.

For Us All

Recommended Posts

14 points clear at the top of the Conference,Luton Town are looking like they are about to return to the Football League. They have ambitions to return to the Premier League which they last played in 22 years ago and their healthy attendances will certainly help the former League Cup winners in their aim.

possibly the worst away ground Ive ever visited

I dont get this "long suffering fans" deserving it either

IMO I deserve the Vale to have a shot at the premier league having suffered a lifetime of pain at Vale Park

I was in the god awful away end when Torquay players had to run in to it to take evasive action from Luton fans hurling fists and bottles at them and the away support! Its crap as were a large proportion of their fans that night for their horrendous actions.

That said they have been mismanaged worse than us so good luck to them.

Worst league ground in the worst area I have ever had the misfortune to visit. Prefer they stayed down. Never used to have a good support, worst supported club when they were in the top flight. Membership scheme, tried to ban all away supporters and the first to introduce plastic pitches.

Luton have never been in the 'Premier league' however they were in the same league when it was Division One and we had divisions 2,3 and 4.

It doesn't seem 22 years since Luton were beating Kenny Dalglish's Liverpool 6-0 on their kenilworth plastic pitch in a FA cup game.

You had Steve Foster, and Mark Stein as the main powerhouses in the team but cant remember the other players who featured...

Was watching on TV a few years ago a midweek cup tie at Luton which went to penalties and heard for the first time 'the police have decided that in the interest of public safety the penalties will be taken at the home end' - Luton won the shoot out.
