Excellent that we are bringing bodies in. Micky has said looking for other loanees and they will be Premier youngsters which is the best we can hope for realistically. That said Micky is quite astute with his signings in general so he has my faith that he will bring in the best he can in the circumstances.

Aaron Maclean? He's 30 years old, has been given a six figure signing on fee and becomes Bradford's highest earner. I wouldn't want to make that kind of commitment for a player who's done nothing since leaving Peterborough. I'd rather young Hugill was given a chance to shine.

 

Dagnall? Again, we don't particularly need a striker. Especially one who'll be commanding a decent wage despite struggling to score for the past three seasons.

 

Give me a young, hungry, raw player over a journeyman looking to pick a wage anyday of the week.

Bayern it's pointless scouting Stoke reserves as it's well known that you won't loan your players out to Vale. There's no way either Dicko or Cuvelier would have been made available to Vale for loan. Just ask yourself when was the last time we loaned a player from Stoke - probably about 1979!

 

All very true. But I'm sure I've watched Flo play very well for our reserves at Vale Park before*.

 

And watching our reserves means You'll also be watching reserves of other Premier League clubs and see potential targets from them and save on the petrol miles. As I'm sure they probably do.
