Sorry, but I would rather deal in facts and not "funny feelings." The fact is, Mickey is in charge and despite the doubters, is doing I believe, a good job with the limited squad he has at his disposal. I doubt whether we're good enough for the play-offs, but the realists (and I class myself as one of these) have always said a mid-table finish in our first season back in League One will be a good result. Where we go next season is a more intriguing question, but barring any real on-pitch disasters, I would be surprised if MA isn't with us at the start of season 2014/15.

While there is disagreement going on between Smurf "Supporters" and Sentinel "Supporters" I wonder what the feeling will be amongst the Smurf camp if MA walks because they cannot reach agreement ?
MA will have his mind on beating Swindon, not childish antics.

Either way it needs sorting by Christmas in my view. Which players would sign a new contract/join us in January with a manager who is going to leave at the end of the year? The likes of Lines, Neal, Dickinson etc.. are all out of contract in the summer, and will be wanted by clubs in this league (or in Lines' case, probably the league above).

 

Marcus Bent signed the day before Rudgie was sacked, whose knows what will happen in football?
