However, do you not think you can be 'fair and reasonable' and appreciate the fact that Paul Wildes chose to leave and left Norman to pick up the pieces of partially-completed deals, of which the kits were one. The delay is unavoidable and I'm sure you can understand that.

 

I would assume that this is more to do with Sondico. The designs and orders with peoples names on them were available months ago.

I'm not being negative, but I'm certain this forum will be littered with disgruntled fans who will be disappointed with the quality of these shirts regardless of when they arrive. £60 for a Vandanel shirt?

It would be a nice gesture if the club came out and said that the 3rd.kit would remain for an extra season.

Its not ideal, we were told July and I would have like to have worn it out in all this sun. But it is a very expensive shirt so I'd like to think it shouldn't be rushed. Either way its a bit of a collectors item so I'll be wearing it in years to come.

I'm not particularly disappointed about not receiving my limited edition away shirt before end of August,but that's because I will only wear it at matches of which I don't get to go to many because of shift work .

 

However,I am surprised that they are not available for the first match of the season !!.

Considering our first three away games are Colchester United, Oldham Athletic and Carlisle United, I highly doubt we'll even be wearing it before that point anyway.

 

I doubt they'll wear it more than 3 or 4 times in the season.

 

Sure I read when they were being advertised that the 3rd kit would be worn for one match by the first team.

Assuming the leaks are correct we will have to wear it at Notts County for sure plus any other games v black and white sides

In what other purchasing scenario would you think it is good to deliver a bespoke product that you have paid a premium for a month after it was promised?

 

Might be wrong, but when we're we promised the shirts would be ready for July. When I ordered mine in May, I was told it would be the end of August before we received. Thought everyone was aware of this when making a decision to buy.
