I think that was right when he first came to the club. Something to do with coaching the youth team.

But then he moved into Horsfield's old job last summer so I think he's on Vale's payroll now. Could be talking rubbish though.

Sheffield Utd are in all kinds of trouble.

They have to massively cut their wage bill. Their attendances are dropping year on year. The squad they have at the moment is not filled with great players.

Page will have a huge job on his hands.

Some Blades fans think its a done deal, strange if true, am sure there is proved managers out there

The welsh man who worked down the road would be a far better call that Mr Page. I like Page but what is on his CV ?

Look at Pulis' CV - took an average championship side to the Premiership, kept mid table for 5 years, got them to their only FA cup final against the most expensive team in the UK. OK they were playing crap football but if the blades prime objective is promotion the Pulis would be a good un. Not nice to see but effective for a few years .... and just think they could get rid of him by mutual consent when he had run his course.

It is so strange that SUFC would even think of Micky Adams assistant as a candidate - If he got promotion things would be great - but just think what the fans would be saying if he wasnt producing by Christmas -

"We had Adams and he fudged up so we go for his assistant thinking that was the solution" That board would take some serious crap.

I truly hope he doesnt go but if he does I would be torn between wishing him well, because I like him, and hoping he fails just to see the reaction of the Blades fans ..... Oh and what would happen if we beat them, with him as manager and Micky ours .

There would be some serious **** taking.

As Grebo Vale says .... Strange if True

Parachute payments don't last for ever, just delay the hard landing.
