The good news - ticket bundles and online booking.

The bad news - extortionate Ticketmaster booking fees and handling charges.

Its a valid point.

However ticketmaster install systems at major venues as well as their own hosted on-line booking, Im hoping that the club will handle on-line sales, in theory this should mean no extortionate fee's ?

Noticed this from Northamptons site, they are using Ticketmaster for their Wembley tickets, with a £2.50 booking fee for all tickets. Obviously that figure might be due to the price of tickets.

They have outsourced the sales to ticketmaster [ for this fixture], I guess currently we have no idea of the plans that Vale have in mind for on-line sales, if its outsourced then yes there will be an admin fee

Such a benefit to the club. You now won't get 28 year olds getting in for under 9 because they 'know the guy on the gate'

Arthur - I am not so sure. Issues in the past have been adults obtaining concessionary season tickets by fraudulent means. The most common being to use a younger person's identity to purchase the ticket.

I do not see how the introduction of a swipe card system will prevent this.

I've been through unmanned turnstiles before where there's been a steward stood in front, watching everybody go in.

I think there's a light above the turnstile that goes a certain colour if it's an adult ticket and a different colour if it's a concession.

What the ****,£2.50 booking fee,£2.00 postage,I for one would not be happy if it was us ,£4.50 :( :( imagine paying £4.50 on top of £22 to get in Vale match days, I can see problems ahead with Ticketmaster :( :(
