Season Ticket Sales

To add to this, if the tickets were cheaper then I may have saved some over as I was a little better off a few weeks ago probably could have managed something but not at the prices released. But still probably would have meant missing wycombe and Northampton which would have been mental for the following season. Even the expensive swindon have student prices. http://www.swindontownfc.co.uk/tickets/ticket-prices/

STs are cheaper up to the age of 21 which is the traditional age for the end of education. What would you suggest to be a fair cut-off age? Perhaps 61, then you can go straight to the old-timers discount?

Trying to help folk here. Not sure if it's a good idea.Last season we had a half season ticket for the second half of the season. What about one for the first half of next season.I'd be looking at a figure of c£180-200 up front for 12/13 games from the start of the season.A second half of the season ticket available when those games expire. That way people are committing without cherry picking matches.

Well the £5 in my bank I have till sept may do me ok lol, you say 3 or 4 pints I don't drink a great deal don't really go out much anymore. I don't smoke. No regular income as student finance is by each semester. Once rent and other outgoings are gone it leaves me just under £400 to last me from for example Sept to January, and January to April. Now tell me its affordable as a student. The ones in the younger price brackets given get extra money off mummy and daddy a week something I don't get (obviously). I am fully reliant on the above. Anyway I don't want say too much more on this as its a pointless circle and I wanted argue the case. We have just had an amazing season, wildes and smurf are legends and I want look forwards not backwards. We have an exciting season ahead (hopefully) and I hope the 5k sales are met atleast so we have a great atmosphere and Micky is backed to the hilt. Goo arn the Vale!!!!

Here's a thought, do a full time job whilst you study, that's what I did.

Sorry but need to add this.....full time demanding job and two young kids.......hard work and determination....getting up before the birds to study before the kids wake up and then late into the night after they have gone to bed. Point is, there is always a way if you are willing....oh, First class honours by the way.....

Good thought Va- LEE-ant.I worked in the betting industry for many years.30-40% of our evening staff were full-time students.Regular staff hate working nights.Students used to work 4-5 hours up to 9.30pm and above minimum wage.Ladbrokes,William Hill,Coral,BetFred are in every major city.

Got my 2 season tickets today and was told by staff that over 1,600 sold, but no idea what percentage new ones as opposed to renewals. Another 11 days to take advantage of early bird offers and 25days for present season ticket holders to renew so imo figures do look OK at this stage. Get down there and support what Wildes and Smurf are trying to achieve with our Club.....they need our support and commitment up front now to gauge finances for Mickey's signings to make us an even more successful Club.
