PW and Smurf have a dream and it is the same as all Vale fans. I am in for the ride and hope they dont over stretch themselves.

Thank you for your support to MA's and listening to the fans.

Heres hoping we are celebrating again this time next year.

Mighty Vale moves another step forward.

Just gets better and better. Can we honestly believe we are lucky enough to have found PW and Smurf? The latest statements are sensational. Wildes really wants to go for it and try to get back to back promotions. Wow, what players then will Micky be looking at to give us that push? Season tickets now need to be a priority for those who haven't indulged before as I can see there being quite a few full house at magnificent Vale Park next season.

Transfers fees? I'd forgotten what they were.

I can't believe how good Wildes and Smurf are. I keep thinking we're all going to wake up and they reveal they've been Miller and Deakin in disguise all along!

Dunna worry yer sen--it's all REAL--and boy, aren't we thankful that Keith Ryder didn't take us on?!! All fans I'm sure will be thanking Paul & Norman for their vitality, enthusiasm, and above all, their business nous-thanks chaps, please, please keep up the good work--we're all behind you.

What I like is how Sir Wildes is not having this football-speak tosh about "consolidating". To paraphrase CJ from Reggie Perrin, he didn't get where is today by consolidating.

PW isn't interested in making up the numbers next year, so that's quite a challenge laid down there for Micky.

In other words, he's saying "Let's see what you can do without any hindrances to your spending power or any off-the-field issues".

The gauntlet has been thrown down!!

I think L1 is there for the taking lads. We made the mistake of going up a few seasons back and having no real ambitions to speak of, and we came straight back down. I don't think there would necessarily need be a great deal of improvements to see any one of the top teams from L2 to make an impact, especially when you see what teams like Yeovil have achieved.

Here's to another season of healthy competition between us
