When the sponsorship deal was announced with UK Windows didn't they say it was until the end of the season with an option of extending?

 

We were all hoping for Nike, Adidas or Puma but we all secretly knew it would be Sondico.

 

Interesting to see the new 'bespoke' designs and hope if they do stick with UK Windows then get rid of the red logo.

Vale also have plans for new shirt sponsors, though no time scale for an announcement has yet been revealed.

Funnily enough Eddie did mention on t'other side he was sitting near Jackson and Mudie at Rochdale, so could be Harlequin I suppose, or perhaps Bratts new Ice Cream franchise.

I was once told,that if we have nike or addidas we dont get a good percentage of the profits. Unless u shift alot, like a prem club can.

so if this is right,i can see why we go with a smaller company,if more on our terms.

As be good buy top quality polo tops that are modern and look the part for once,for example.

its got to be more than just selling kits.

Quite happy with this. A recognised name with good retail experience behind them. Like VITB said I bet addidas / nike etc. take a huge percentage of profits, where quite simply we wontsell the volume to make enough profit ourselves.

Interesting, but garish selection - mainly because of the colours, though too many clashing stripes on most of them, and ugly sponsor's logo. Like Kangoo I'd go for something like C.

From those listed, it would have to be B for me. With black at the top, a yellow stripe and white for the rest of the shirt.

None of us yet know what designs there are for our new shirts. Trust in the new owners to ensure we get a kit that we can all be proud of and obviously as businessmen they will have secured a brilliant deal for Vale too. It's a difficult one. Bit of a catch 22 really.

 

Probably not enough Vale fans to warrant Nike or adidas if what u say is true but people arent that interested in buying lesser goods.

Do they expect people to commit to purchasing a 3rd kit tomorrow without knowing what sponsor logo is going to be on the shirt?

 

I'm not too disappointed with the Sondico deal, because as many have said the bigger companies such as Nike and Adidas would have been there simply to milk the club, whereas the Sondico deal seems more of a partnership arrangement. Vandanel (thats who Sondico really are) have often come under fire from Vale fans for the lack of branded merchandise, but the reality is that Vandanel have always had a good range of merchandise but Vale never chose to stock these items - lets hope this now changes.

 

It would be nice if samples of these three new kits could be paraded around the pitch at halftime on Saturday.

So it's a 5 year deal with "Sondico professional"....so another 5 years of Vandanel basically......Vandanel universally considered overpriced sub-standard rubbish by the fans who hoped for better having got rid of V2001....furthermore the club shop will be a Sportsdirect Megastore full of low quality rubbish....it almost makes you think perhaps the Ashley family have something to do with Wildes funding after all.
