Next two home games.

For Us All

Recommended Posts

Don't know about anybody else but I'll take four points from the next two home matches against Aldershot and Cheltenham.Three points on Saturday against the 'Shots' will do us the world of good and will set up a cracker against rivals Cheltenham on Good Friday at Vale Park.

Views and opinions please.

Aldershot will be a lot tougher than some people predict.

I'd take a 1-0 with Pope scoring for confidence.

And a point against Cheltenham would not be a disaster..keeps the gap between us.

7 cup finals left, need the fans to play their part..starting sat.

I fancy all teams beat us at home tbh.

I think all we need is to get ahead and we'll be ok. We haven't lost any game at home this season where we've been in the lead.

Aldershot will be a tricky game and it's difficult to know how they'll play. They desperately need points, so will they come at us in the hope of getting in front, or will they sit back and try to nick a goal? They are also in a bit of a slump, having not won in five, with three draws and two defeats.

Cheltenham are not that great away, having won only one of their last eight away matches, but Benson needs watching. A very dangerous player.

I know its an old cliche but its really important to look at it one game at a time.

Lets not get carried away when we win.

Lets not get suicidal when we lose.

A win on Saturday will leave us in a great position with 6 to go.

Its all ifs buts and maybes.

We would go mad if we started to look to far ahead. Infact, some already have!

Spot on again ST.

If we do lose a couple of games we have to keep level headed and not let anarchy break out.

Saturday is a crucial game and we should win to place us favourably ahead of a 6 pointer v Cheltenham, however we need to stay with the team no matter what happens.

Yesterday the fans were superb and you could tell the players fed off it. Hughes was right in with the fans when he celebrated and there was a united bond between the fans/players at the that went missing for a while in my opinion.

Keep getting behind the lads, even if we go a goal down - they need us more than ever and we can push them on through the finishing line!
