PW must have taken into account that he might leave the club in the summer. Shouldn't we try to keep our young promising players ? By the way, how many in our starting line-up is 18-25 years ?How many promising players do we have ?

Players at the age of Ryan Burge are the future for this club.Unfortunately Micky prefers to get by with journeymen footballers to do a job in the short term,the quick fix option.Let's hope he's got it right this time although nothing was broken until said journeymen arrived.( I don't think Dan Jones is other than a class act).This recent incident isn't Micky's first clash with a player and I don't expect it will be his last.Didn't Burge come out and say recently he was happy at the club and wanted a new contract?Like I said earlier 'A disappointing episode'.

Not really a valid argument considering a) the evidence of his outbursts on twitter are there to see and b) he didnt turn up at the time he was supposed to.

All this nonsense over Twitter. Mickey goes over the top with his discipline, a simple talking to would of done the trick. Didn't Popey once put something really bad on Twitter, got slated by the fans but not the management. If Mickey wants promotion he needs to realise we need our best players for that. Our rivals must think we are mad - and rejoicing all the way into their respective games today in anticipation of another self-inflicted injury by the Vale. I thought the days were over when every time I logged on there was another crazy turn of events. Now we seem dogged by controversy at every turn.

 

The object of the exercise is simple: we need to get promotion. So imho suspending our most effective and consistent midfielder is the last thing we should be doing. You would think that there were other ways of disciplining a player and making your point about how serious it is without damaging our promotion prospects. So what's going on?
