In response to a tweet I sent Smurf:

Hi Smurf asked me to message you as he cannot do private message via Twitter

He advises there is already WIFI at the Lorne St side for all boxes etc which is free and sees no benefit/would not be fair to charge the rest of the stadium exc away end

What he would like is a constructive updated wish list/and ideas for revenue opportunities which can posted via Twitter or here

Thanks

Deb

Just because they don't see the revenue opportunity in Wi-if for the 5k home supporters every other week doesn't mean there is no revenue opportunity in this. There is absolutely a revenue opportunity in doing it and as someone with knowledge and working in that area I'd welcome the opportunity to discuss the subject with the club are a few experts on the Value this cold brin to the club....

To name a few areas of opportunity;

To access a hotspot you have to register, this in itself creates a customer list... Something which poses significant value to the club... Beyond season ticket registrations!

The hotspot will give your customers a PVFC landing page where you could share the offers and messages during a game, MoM vote, sell shirt off the back, publish a e-programme paid for and downloaded to your smartphone/tablet

Gives the club the opportunity to sell advertising space online via he portal to others...

Anyways it could be very beneficial to the club.

I quite agree; bring back the old score board with letters on it, and a fellah to hang the number baords up at half time.

That takes me back! You had to buy the programme to see which letter matched which game. And that's if the 'fellah' could be ar$ed to go out in the cold to put the scores up.

Could be done again on the new scoreboard........prospect of a nice little earner? ;)
