I think our chairman has told Adams to sign who he wants to get us out of this division.

One thing I haven't been able to understand is why Adams only seems to go back for his ex Brighton players.

With the exception of Dodds, why does he never go back to Leicester or even Fulham and see if they have any players available.

I know its a long shot but Paul Gallacher, Jeffrey Schlupp(Leicester)for example.

On a plus we now have around a dozen players in the squad who have played at League 1 and above-better quality players, more experience-its all going to plan........................

 

Not sure where you are getting the ex-Brighton link from aside from Loft and Birchall who was on-loan there.

 

Dodds wasn't signed by Micky.

 

For me I think we need a left-back, Flint and Earnshaw.

I personally don't think that we need anymore strikers. Skarz and Flint/Krystian Pearce will do me.

Is the new chief scout bringing these players in now? The true test will be the nature of the younger players we are apparently watching. Exciting times indeed.

An experienced midfielder is a certainty.MA has already identified this area and with Murphy being released I expect another signing either later this week or next.Someone like Prutton,Wellens or Howard in the centre and that would allow Lofty to drop back to LB where Mickey prefers him.

If that's true, I'm impressed. Saw that Hereford FA cup match on the box and thought he was everywhere. All action, box to box, puts a foot in - just the sort of player we're missing sometimes when our midfield looks overrun.

Yes Dean I know Harry well, vale were on the phone to Hereford on Monday and Foyle pulled Harry into the office. Hereford can't afford to offer him a deal for next year so if they don't sell know he will leave for free in the summer

Just clocked the back page of todays sentinel, it says vale still on the hunt Paul wildes says vale will continue spending in the January window.
