He's still receiving treatment for his injury in the hope of playing again (he goes to the same place as me) - at least he was, maybe it wont continue if he's moving away

I remember a few years ago when a friend of mine who is a Stoke fan came to a Vale game and thought that Haldane was the best player on the pitch

 

Great player on his day and would have been a good addition for us this term - but unfortunately has had an awful time with Injuries. Good luck Lewis!

Nice touch indeed, real shame for him. He looked very good in the tranmere game prior to that horrible injury.

Spoke to Lewis after the Chesterfield game and I have to say he was a real nice guy, said he was moving in the New Year and what a great set of supporters the Vale fans are. He said how much he appreciated all the messages he had received and he hoped to be back for the promotion party. He was unlucky with injuries but he accepted the risk of injury as he said to me 'that's football'.

 

I wish him and his family well for the future.
