His injury seemed pretty unnecessary.

The liner seemed to put his flag up very quickly but it was on big John's blind side. The ref was very late to blow his whistle for offside, John stretched to win a tackle he didn't need to and did himself an injury.

I'm told that these are the things that assessors mark referees down on.

the ref was late but even so I thought he went in unneccesarily - I said before it was obvious that he was hurt that he didn't need to make the challenge in case he injured himself

Good job it was offside, otherwise it was a nailed on penalty though, clearly, that's not much consolation to John McCombe now. We could do with him very quickly. Unless Collins can get his form from 2 years ago back, then I wouldn't go back to him.

I've no problem with re signing Chilvers until the end of the season, he's looked solid enough when alongside McCombe in the games I've seen him play (Aldershot, Rotherham, Dagenham, Fleetwood). The problem is McDonald. Micky, please either pick Davis or sign someone who is faster than a glacier to partner Chilvers.

Chilvers is even slower!!! Did you see him come to the right touchline just before half time and their forward just walked past him! Very noticable that our defence suffers more so at home than away because our pitch is so big this is why we do better away on the smaller pitches as our defence's lack of pace isn't punished as much!

This has been the case for 2 seasons now, please please Adams give Davis ago how can he be any worse than a defence thats letting in two goals a game at home regularly! when he's played he's been just as good as the others. Still dont think he will and he'll just sign another old slow centre half instead! Burge should be an example to him he's given him a chance and he's been superb all season, a real find! He's the same with Lloyd reluctant to give him a chance even though Vincent has been shocking in his last six games! Too stubborn!!!!!!

I would start with Davis and James at centre backs for the Plymouth game, the both of them were superb playing together in the Northamton game, they both have pace and always give 100%, other than that Micky should get his list out, and bring in two central defenders of it with the greatest of urgency.

Krystian Pearce and Lee Collins

I'd go with that as long as Lee Collins doesn't have a negative impact on Popey again!

McCombe's injury is down to his own stupidity, the whistle had clearly gone, he challeneged accross the player with his wrong foot and if play had been live it would have been a clear penalty, not sure what goes through players minds sometimes. It is a loss however as although we need better if we are promoted he is by far and away our best centre half.

Disagree with that, I was right in front of it and the whistle had clearly gone prior to McCombe making the challenege, he has no one to blame but himself for a moment of madness frankly.

The referee was very good throughout particularly when dealing with Morsy's petulance in the second half, I would imagine he was marked highly.

I'm gonna be honest here. Davis is ****. He looks dodgy everytime he plays. Dela Adebola gave him the run around for heaven's sake. What's the obsession with him?!?

He isn't **** he's just as good as our other defenders. The only thing that Davis has that the others don't is pace and potential that's the obsession. He certainly deserves a chance over McDonald

Completely disagree. He's poor in the air, easily knocked off the ball & I certainly wouldnt have 'pace' down as an attribute! He also looks liable to make a mistake everytime he plays. Micky obviously agrees as he's been nowhere near the starting 11 for a while despite our issues at centre half.
