So I get me half season ticket then get a letter saying a game in Dec pp means I need to go to vale and amend my tickets or I can't go on new years day wtf is that all about

If I was you mate I'd phone the ticket office, explain your problem, and I would guess that they will sort it for you. If they don't stick it back on here and you'll have an army behind you.

What is it with the Vale? We are top of the league, have had a brilliant season after all the turmoil of the past few years, are scoring for fun, have a great bunch of lads giving their all on the pitch, YET I am a nervous wreck! I suspect many others, too are having mild heart attacks each game, willing full time to come. Perhaps we have all been "brainwashed" these recent seasons into believeing we are a "nearly" team? When things are seemingly going well something comes along to knock us down again and we don't quite reach the standards we all hope for with Vale. I for one hope we buy a class defender to help us kill off games we should be in no position to lose or draw. It's fantastic that we score more than the opponents, that is the name of the game, but do we constantly have to allow teams a glimmer of hope when we are in control? Some of you will say that Man Utd are doing similar in the Premier- their defence allows teams goals all over the place, but Utd score more than the other team so they are reasonably happy. I would like my heart to last for many more seasons until we too are in the higher leagues so Vale can we please, please kill games off so I can enjoy the last half or so of all the remaining matches!! Not a criticism, just a reflection of a fan with a New Years resolution of winning games and not letting inferior clubs believe they have any chance with us!!

There are no PMT buses running on New Year's Day, are there?

doubt it, cant remember last time i saw a PMT bus, think FIRST took them over, just had to explain to a 15year old what a PMT bus was and in 1984 there was a double decker running around the city with port vale all over it as pmt were our shirt sponsers that season

Before you make sweeping statements like this do your research, your comments could put people off going, there is NO tickets needed for the railway anyone can pay on the gate.

Hardly a sweeping statement ! I ended my satement with a question mark. (?)

Just seemed strange as the last home game i went i needed a ticket for the Railway Stand, and i also needed one for the Bycars for the game against York...

Makes you wonder why the queue gets so big if you only need a ticket for the Lorne Street.

You can pay at the turnstile for the whole of the Railway, I'm just a bit surprised you can pay at the Bycars gate.

Great stuff....So upper Railway, PAY ON TURNSTILE. I'm bringing a Kilmarnock fan down so i will look a bit daft if i try to pay to sit in the Upper railway, and get told ''go get a ticket'' !!
