-Not being able to name a full squad.

-Not being able to sign any players until recently.

-Suspensions and injuries.

-He had a squad that whatever vision he sold to them in the summer was quashed and they were very quickly asked to sign amended contracts without knowing for sure if the original ones would be honoured.

 

How do we know what Micky considered to be a "full squad". Either way he bought McCallister in when we were in admin and Andrew and Chilvers after. Hardly inspiring and no improvement on what we have.

He has a squad that because of the situation we were in, seemed to pull together and create a spirit that pushed us on early season. It's only since we've come out of admin that their confidence appears to have dropped.

About time we acknowledged that Micky knows what he is doing. It is easy to watch and criticise but he has done well considering the restraints he has been working under.

 

What a lot of people on here were doing with regard to Saturday's game was criticising his team selection. Micky Adams appears to have accepted that they had a point. Nowt to do with working under restraints or owt like that. Simply bad decision making on the day. Are we not allowed to say stuff like that??

MA has sort-of accepted that he made a "mistake" but whydoes he still have to add that some supporters will never be happy.

Of course. Just that his options are limited due to the squad numbers. Vincent is playing with an injury for example, who knows how many of the others are not fully fit. (Reply to Jacko!)

Again, I think that is a myth. He had plenty of time to line deals up prior to the deadline. It was common knowledge when we would be coming out of admin. There was then 2 days to finalise things, which essentially should have just been paperwork.

 

I am sure Micky had heard that before when Mr Ryder was knocking about!!

 

Loan players are surplus to requirements by their parent clubs which in most cases is the crap that nobody wants!! They are just bodies to boost a depleted squad.

 

We dont need much more, if we can get Pope, Dodds, JMW, Vincent & Williamson back to firing on all cylinders then we will be promoted. Although i would like to see Doug Loft back in central midfield, so a left back needs to be on the shopping list.

Your point about Loan players is wrong. We signed Myrie Williams on loan who is quality. Many decent sides loan out their youth players for experience and there are always players who have fell out with mangers, just because they are loan listed dosent mean they are crap.
