We usually take over 1000-2000 for away games as close as this. So should be around 1000 there tonight as its only the jpt. Also due to the fact were 2nd in the league and there's a buzz throughout the fans. Plus its a tenner!

Can't make it myself either tonight. Had it been a league game I might have been more inclined but JPT just doesn't have the appeal(sad as we've won it twice I know!)

I agree with sv, can't see more than 500 or 600 either. The biggest following I can remember for a bog standard(ie early rounds game) in this competition was probably Bradford and that was down to the free coaches.

TBH apart from Stoke and Lincoln the year we won it in 2001 and Stoke(van der Laan goal) and Exeter(area final) back in the 90s I can't remember too many making the effort full stop.

Maybe Shrewsbury a few years ago at the old Gay Meadow when we had the worst ref ever and lost 2-1 we may have taken a few but otherwise I'm struggling, as a competition generally it has never had the appeal.

 

Apart from the fact it gives 2 lower league teams a chance to go to Wembley I'm suprised it's lasted as long as it has tbh!
