You have to wonder if the CEO is able to do the job properly yet or still learning it as he goes along.  Can't be an easy job with so much happening within the club - non football and football related.

Shows how good Colin G was when he was there, good experience and offered advice trying to keep Carol and Kevin on a level ground when it came to football matters.

Certainly not Championship ready at the moment.

Who would want to own a football club.

Colin Garlic has been proven as the one irreplaceable person that this club has had, over the last ten years. We've struggled structurally, as soon as he departed (got booted?)

So now Jim Ratcliffe, the chairman and chief executive officer of the INEOS chemicals group, and hence the richest person in the UK, is a foolish moron in your humble opinion.

The only possible answer is that you are a youngster who hasn't yet grown out of opinionated adolescent overconfidence.

In which case, my good wishes for your future development.

Thank you Lord Sugar.

Radcliffe is nowhere near the richest man in the UK, he has made huge losses and his personal wealth has dwindled.

He has ran Man United dreadfully and is a Smurfwaite level chancer looking at his personal history.

Smurfwaite thanks to selling the club is a multi millionaire. Still a moron. Still

a fool.

You are equating wealth with personal ability which is completely irrelevant.

Yep Garlick should have stayed in hindsight. Totally agree with that point.

Alan Vit, from the Elon Musk school of hard knocks thinks men with money can't possibly be a moron.

Do you have Trump sized hands too?

Until we have a new pitch we won't know if our current one was a factor in the injury problems many of our players have experienced.

Byers injuries had nothing to do with the pitch and were totally down to horrendous foul tackles from opponents…..some of the others may be but not all

It still angers me now that one that was done on Byers at Mansfield firstly that the ref didn’t do their job and sent off their player and secondly having gotten away with it none of our players dished him out a receipt for that challenge,

They play on the training pitches more. They used to get quite boggy and heavy, not sure if they’ve had any work on them.

He was good at his job. When he left us he went to work for the FA, more on a part-time basis. Currently working for Salford part-time and running the Cheshire County FA. I think he may still be doing some work for the FA as well. He was involved in the Cheshire FA throughout his time with us.

And look who replaced him…..surely as it was Carols choice she replaced him with at least as many qualifications end experience in the football world?

I think we are going a bit off topic here aren't we? unless this about the CEO and Garlick etc is to do with summer tranfers 😉

There was never any evidence that he was pushed out and I believe he still attends some games with the family. He's a guy in his mid to late 50s who had some good jobs before he went into football and is at least as likely to have wanted a change. I'm just a little older but I told my bosses over 18 months ago I was going to do something different this summer. They are now in the process of restructuring and I'm leaving. I'm not leaving because they are restructuring and in part they are restructuring because I'm leaving. I know some people who work for me think I am leaving because of the restructuring because people put 2 and 2 together and make 5. You don't tell people you are leaving in 2 years time generally. Once you are debt free, have your pension taken care of, have money in the bank then doing something you just want to do becomes important.

It's certainly true Carol replaced him. What isn't clear is why she replaced him and who decided it was time for him to leave. If Carol decided he would have been entitled to redundancy and there wasn't any suggestion of that at the time. From his point of view he's almost certainly working fewer hours and probably earning more money from his 3 job portfolio than he did working for us. He's also a bit of a football fanatic and he can actually watch games now; something he never really did from when he started out at Macclesfield Town until leaving us. If Colin Garlick wants to go to Stockport tonight at chairman of the Cheshire FA he will get wined, dined and a good seat for free to watch all 90 minutes. If it was a home game and he was still CEO he would be lucky to sit down for more than 20 minutes during the match.
