    Besides putting out a national advert and interviewing candidates I'm not sure what else a club can do. Ultimately it then goes down to either someone being good at interviewing; or their track record. Moore did have a good record and was first choice for most one vale fan posters. Ironically my choice would have been Derek Adams; recently unemployed,  now at Plymouth.

    Reason I say that is he clearly loves Vale and he's very attack minded.

    Don’t think we can afford to just throw the next couple of games. Ben has zero coaching experience.

    If we lose today we’re in real danger of being double figures points off safety before any new appointment is made. 

    It would probably have to be Ryder and hope he can fluke us a point or two until the club gets someone through the door. Unfortunately time is going to be of the essence as we can’t sacrifice any more games.

    Pretty sure coaching badge is a requirement to manage at this level, probably why you rarely see player managers now. 
     

    prediction is a loss today but hope is a win, probably 1-0. 
     

    If we’re taking a Ryder on the Will train from tomorrow then I hope a new gaffer is installed quickly as we don’t have time to waste.

    But I’m a vale fan and  is that not everyone’s criteria in here that you have to love the Vale to get any job related to the club ?
