I would swap G Hall for Garrity.

And play him behind the front two! Bit a pace to give their defence and Oliver Norwood something to think about!

This is a very tight league ! On Saturday all games bar one were decided by the odd goal! We need to stop the mistakes which so far have cost us loads of points. The midfield need to start getting on the score sheet and aim for the  goal not the stand. At it from the off until the final whistle we can't afford passengers all need to be on there game. There is very little in this league we are as good as any. Come on you whites !

This is the team that I would go with tonight

                                 Gauci

John, Humphreys, Debrah, C Hall, Johnson

                       Croasdale Byers G Hall

                              Paton Cole

We need to be more ruthless with chances when they come along. Poorer sides than ourselves are above us because they're ruthlessly taking the chances when they come. We're creating enough but not converting and then the other team goes up the other end and takes their one chance.

Its quite simple really Vale players be prepared run harder than the opposition, ,free kicks and set pieces move opposition around and put the right quality of ball in too cause them trouble .

,Press high from front if your a forward picked ,be prepared too be the first line of defenve ,run into space ,move quickly and HAVE A go if have chance shoot .

We are very capable

Not going say anything more, as i have quality time of gym and swim and sauna before hand i hope the football matches that .

If went v Arsenal, and free tonight id expect you be going Vale tonight

Same performance generally as v Cardiff, when they bought over 2k for a night match but with us getting the rub of the green and the goals we didnt get v them ,at least 3 ....

Port Vale 3 Stockport 1

Debrah from a beautiful ball in from Paton

Paton after a surging run from Croasdale and this time not like v Northampton he finishes .

Stockleywith a text book header after G Hall burst wide right too deliver the ball Stockley has netted all his career ..

Believe and get behind the team you never know it may help no end.

BIG BIG GAME .

I’ll push it to 14th. £20 to a charity of my choice if 14th or higher.

If we finish 15th or below it’s £20 to a charity of their choice.

Of course you would have the problem of putting both sides’ £20s into some form of escrow.

So that, for instance, JS Nippy-Treacle couldn’t just welch on the bet and mutate into another anti-Moore poster.

My team for tonight

                                 Gauci

John, Humphreys (Heneghan if not fit) Debrah, C Hall, Johnson

                         Croasdale Byers Garrity

                               Stockley Cole

G Hall & Paton to feature from the bench

I dont mind that team at all but i would like to see us get back to starting Paton and Cole together again as a front two and see how we go,maybe even start Hall in an attacking midfield role at the expense of Garrity

Bit defensive for me. Especially at home.

Whatever happens tonight it will not define our season that's for sure

Not seen many home wins. Monday was our night in the late 80s and early 90s! Looking forward to this.

This looks a decent side, actually.

Only change id make is Hall for Garrity personally. Like the 11 though, not far off as strong as we can line up without Gabriel. I think Walters / Ojo may have been a good option tonight. At least off the bench with their strong midfield

Paton both starting eleven and sub according to the club team announcement?
