Well I for one would not be disappointed to move Walters on. I was expecting him to push on and be running past midfielders and having shots on goal or creating chances for others. For me he’s a mini Ojo playing the same lethargic style and has been disappointing.

I understand ppl saying not to spend and accept relegation but what would be the financial cost of playing in L1 and L2. Also if we just wave the white flag, how is it going to affect ST sales next season. We won on Saturday so let’s just keep going with a winning mentality and the boost that we can stay in the league.

Paton may not be good enough but he deserved a run at that point so he at least had a chance to show his ability. I think the point with Tolaj is really well made. At Christmas 2024 time, there was a lot of criticism of Tolaj's form because he'd been mucked about - in and out of the side, played out of position. Paton has had the first part (mucked about and played out of position) without the second part - a run in his best position for a few games.

Paton may still not have made it but I guess we may never know now. Incidentally, he's contracted till 2027 though I suspect if this move does happen there may well be an option to buy.

If the worse (worst?) happens, next season in league 2, if we are doing well, crowds will come back, merch/shirts sales will be high, and we will all be buzzing - might even buy a sexy little goalie number myself for bedroom parade duties 

I know one thing, even with DM at the wheel, last season going up was far more fun than this season going down 😁👍💜💜💜💜💜💜

And as Iv bored you all with many times, as me ole pappy used to say "you are always better at the top of a division, doesn't matter which one" 💜

Because basically it’s a poor league and we recruited players who were generally top level for the division.  League 1 is a far better standard and tactically more demanding.

She hasn't got an endless amount of money. If things make sense financially then she should do it now. No further harm can come as long as we use this time to ensure next season is a success or at the very least not a huge calamity

You are spouting out some rubbish just lately.

Football is all about cliche's and spin.

The problem with you is that you believe everything that you read which is an absolute sad state to be in.

Also, something that I have stated many times over the weekend and which other people have also stated, is that teams like Luton and Plymouth are bigger clubs than Port Vale that can offer better wages, better pays days including signing on fee's.

Once a team bigger than bottom of the table Port Vale come in for them, they are always going to move.

Cole said that he wanted to go after he Luton made an offer for him, nothing wrong with that at all.

This thing about not wanting to stay for the fight is absolute rubbish. It's about bettering themselves and earning more money in the process which people like you completely fail to understand because it hurt's you when a player wants to play for another team other than the mighty Vale.

The way players get absolutely slaughtered just because they dare want to play for somebody else is getting ridiculous.

Its not about loyalty or fighting, its just a job to them.

Just seen that Elliot Lee has signed for Donny until the end of season, most laughed about that shout but he has gone to a team in the bottom 4 of league 1. 

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but I hoped we at least enquired!
