I agree with Alex's comment 👏

How? Big up Brady for sniffing out the negativity. He rewarded it with the captains armband. That should mean something.

Really?

You saw your teammates give up, watched the club give up and sit back doing nothing about the manager even when the players approached the club directly. Watch the club appoint a L2 manager.

Your club is dead cert for L2 , you have a relegation clause reducing your salary and you know clubs going for promotion want you and will pay above your current earnings.

Too right I’d force a move. Anyone saying otherwise is kidding themselves.

Exactly

From what I saw against Exeter, we may come to think of the Moore era as a glory period if that’s the best Brady can do.

Moore had some weird pull on carol. He signed so many players, and on big wages, with such a bloated squad. New guy comes in and he getting a player from the depths of non league and having all our best players sold. It’s really weird.

I reckon we gave him the captain's armband to inflate his value.

Pace maybe, but poor quality footballer
Smith was a poor quality footballer with no pace yet people were blarting on here when he left. Jesse did well in some games, not so well in others, but always gave his all. Goes with my best wishes

You must admit it looks terrible. Shipped out Curtis who’s doing well at Plymouth. Looks like we will be getting rid of our top scorer in Cole.

Then we bring in an old bloke from a part time club.

Maybe or maybe not, i would rather defer judgement. Brady stated he was helping out a mate and to stay fit in case a league club came in. Cant be worst of the statues we have now.

Smith did well over a number of seasons for us, had poor games yes but was in the majority very good. Debs was in the main very poor, especially at this level (which was always going to be the case) lower end league 2 he’s fine. Had some good games last year but one game he would play well, then a really poor performance, too inconsistent and for a bloke of his height he was awful in the air. He did give his all though like you say and I do wish him well which is more than I can say for some currently in our side.

"Good riddance Cole. We don't need his sort."

"Good riddance Curtis. We don't need his sort."

I remember people saying the exact same thing on here about Anthony Grant when he was leaving.....clueless then, and clueless now!

It is something of a skill for a manager to get everything they can out of an owner. Sir John Rudge was excellent at that with the notoriously tight Bell as his book illustrates. Adams was good at that with Smurfwaite and actually Michael Brown managed to sign players that went beyond what Smurfwaite was willing to do such as Ryan Taylor.

We then had the likes of Askey and Page who in both cases seemed to get little from the owner, regardless of that being Carol or Smurfwaite.

Fair enough but not good enough for me. All the best to him

I get that and you’re probably right. I just can’t get behind the club signing an injury prone 27 year old from the worst side in the 7th tier whilst letting Curtis and Cole go.

1 more player to leave and we’ve this surpassed Smurf’s window of  Alnwick, Grant sales and not keeping Jones.

Buckle up.
