Signing off until a loss suits your sad way of supporting your club

Well said P_v,

That poster has some serious challenges.

He's an amateur because he went to non league to stay match fit? Would you prefer he was a league player sitting on his arse not bothering waiting for his next pay day? Come on now.

I’d prefer him to be a league player. Yes. That seems a pretty reasonable wish.

Get rid of the over paid siht. Theve not served us well. Clarke plays 5 games then injured for 10. Waste of time. Debra is one of the worst signings ever.

Brady must think we are morons. Nobody goes to the 7th tier to “get fit”. His logic is utterly out. You know what gets you fit more than part time football?
Full time football!

The only reason this bloke is in the 7th tier is because no club in tiers 1-6 wanted him. He has played barely 70 football league matches at 27.

No wonder we get people like Flitcroft. Brady is from the same mould. Thinks he can fob us of with fairy tales.
That's BS

Well congrats mate. If he was in FT football, we’d either not be getting him as he’d be paid up. Or he’d be an unwanted player and very unfit.

I don’t need to tell you that players not fit are not a good idea, but you love this idea apparently and think it’s worth it. Plus there’s been loads of players plucked from leagues below that have been a success, much as there are players in full time football you love that turn out to be losers.

You mean the team challenging for the championship play offs? And it’s not just how they are run, it’s just having the abilty to Google (or chatgpt) who has captained our side this season when we (and I don’t for one second think we will) ask for an extra 200 grand because we made him captain for one game where we had the worst performance of the season. It’s a ridiculous theory that’s just grasping at Straws to excuse a poor decision.

It took them around a decade to get to where they are now though - a decade of poor signings, appointments and decisions. We’re about a quarter way through what the Lardies had to suffer and they’ve only just hit safer mediocrity.

BTW - I’m not saying that I think the captaincy decision was a good thing - I’m just saying I can see a logic behind it. Would our players recognise the manager’s intentions and would it affect their performances ? We can only speculate.

But this bloke is as injury prone as they get and 27. He’s not a young kind banging goals in that we’ve scouted.
Surely there were other options for him to get properly fit rather than part time at a side worse than leek town. We’ve signed players from Leek before and they’re not up to it. I don’t see how there is a positive spin to this signing

People do each other favours in football. We’ve had players training with us for precisely that - Finn Ashworth loan? Didn’t even make the bench, but someone knew his dad and we did him a favour, which may come back to benefit us in other ways.

Possibly, probably?

My problem is people making up their mind before seeing him. Very easy to come up with reasons to write somebody off.

Imagine writing off Tolaj because he was coming from non league and we apparently wanted league experience. (and no, I don't care about age in the comparison -- you've got people wanting us to get Pearce still)

No idea what the contract deal is with this guy, but maybe he's just seen to be better than Jesse who he's replacing and that's all that's required right now.

I'm not really looking for a 'positive spin' on a signing I'll admit to knowing very little about [the player].

I'll judge him when I see him. I've got my suspicions that it won't work out but I'm not going to prejudge the guy for it.

We're not going to be getting better players (with profile) until the summer or we're doing better anyway.

So, let’s get this straight, everybody believes what Unofficial Vale says even thought that clueless twaat got nothing right for a number of years??

This is again another case of how gullible Vale fans are that they want to grab hold of anything of what anybody says because they can not stand the thought that a jakf decent player like Cole doesn’t want to stick around and play for their club that is in the biggest free fall that I have seen in my 45 years of supporting the club:

Absolute bullshiit and an unnecessary rumour from someone that does not have a clue and absolute bs from everyone on here that believes him

Tbf @Brian Johnson this Vale fan has said he has heard the same rumour about Devante. So, I reckon it is probably true.

Weve signed league players and their not up to it. We've had experienced managers and they've not been up to it. Its all about having a system, organisation and planning.
