Only when that final whistle goes does the nails breath a sigh of relief.  This is Vale after all.  🤣

Indeed… and relax those sphincters 😂

What sore losers Birmingham are.

Who was the Birmingham player that headed straight for Gauci to confront him after the final whistle ?

I was just going to post that. Stansfield got in Gauc’s face and Kyogo joined him. Nasty little man , Stansfield. Gauci wasn’t bothered at all .

Funny old game isnt it... i think tonight showed although the results are not quite their its nowhere near as bad as people think it is.. a bad side goes their tonight and gets thumped by 4 or 5.

hopefully tonight gives us bags of confidence that we can get results

This will give DM a headache when choosing the 11 for Saturday!

Just shows, we're together as a squad, playing well  most of the time as a team, we just need to score goals more regularly.

Brilliant performance that, some nice touches by Paton, crunching tackle by Gordon on Stansfied at the end, some excellent clutching the ball out of the air by Gauci, overall all the players did really well.

Stansfield...... Prima D!

We’ve clearly got the makings of a really solid side. We just need desperately a striker and for me another centre back. I was really impressed with the keeper as well, I feel a lot calmer with him in nets.
I hope Walters hasn’t put himself in the shop window playing like that tonight.

I thought we looked quite comfortable in that 2nd half.

Impressed with Gaucci, in the main he was excellent with balls in the box.

I’ve said it before and will say it again, how Heneghan is not our 1st choice CB is beyond me? We look so organised with him in there and he’s always Jonny on the spot.

Well done to DM and the Vale team, the players and fans really needed that kind of positive response.

Well done to Moore for not leaving it until half way through the season to change the keeper, which can happen where the GK is concerned.

Presumably cos he’s Villa. They’re obsessed
