Vale grew into the game and thoroughly deserved being ahead at half time. 

Their guy Koumas looks dangerous.

I think vale fans are a bit critical sometimes. Away at Birmingham, spent millions, load of very good players looking to push for a start, they came out of the blocks fast and were slicker than us for 15/20 mins but didn’t create a great deal. Walters grown into it, plenty of endeavour, just lacking a bit of confidence. Could have 3 again no exaggeration.

Well, they had about 15 minutes of that half...40 according to some of the planks on here! The last 15 minutes has been the best football of the game so far, and their keeper has made 2 decent saves...try giving your team some credit, for a change!

Got to be 3 of those 4 starting every game, with Shipley and Ojo off the bench as and when. That’s the foundation of the midfield for me. Can’t keep playing variations of 3 of 6 in the league and expect consistency.

Should/could be 3 or 4-0 similar to the league we’ve played good stuff and grown into a dominant performance just lacking the clinicalness. Deserved the goal and to be frustrated it’s not 3 or 4 shows how well we’ve done.
