You never know in football but I'd be a little surprised is Amos doesn't start the first game.

Moore won't play Shipley and Embleton together in midfield. They are both good footballers, rather than workers. Embleton can play on the right of a front 3. I agree there is an outside chance that Noordanus gets a contract.  Just purely on squad numbers that would mean one of the 5 strikers won't get a squad place. I'd be surprised if that player was Wain (just signed), Curtis, Stockley or Tolaj. That just leaves Paton.

A - Depends how good they think Foster is. He could be signed then loaned to NL. Then next year when Amos is 36 and his contract is up, Foster could step up to the first team with a season of football under his belt?

B - I'm sure Embleton has had a torrid time with injuries. I wouldn't like another of these "good player when fit" types. I would move Ojo on if possible. 

C - I think we're stocked up front. Tolaj, Stockley, Waine, Curtis, Paton. Wouldn't surprise me to see Paton moved on but think we need a robust target man type.

Burslem Academicals in his annual 1 month emergence from hibernation to deal with the transfer window mentioned him being linked to us at the same time as Waine, so has speculated we may be signing him as well.

Finally the trialists firstly the keeper only 24 and one for the future but with Amos 35 and Marosi 31 can't see the luxury of three keepers unless Amos is looking for a 2 year contract somewhere on the back of the promo...but mostly in terms of 3/4/3 having five strikers Stockley/Curtis/Tolaj/Paton/Wain then there would seem to be room for one more and what kind of player is the trialist striker....a target man/number nine/centre forwar/ back up for Stockley or Other?

There is absolutely no evidence to suggest we are interested in, never mind signing, Embleton.

Besides the fact that as you say there is currently no evidence at all to suggest we are interested in him. If it is the Embleton at Carlisle, that does look a decent addition to the squad if it were true

Very funny Paton is on here laughing at all the comments saying he might be moved on. Not at all discreet, no. 

Sorry Embleton is but a "name supplied" example other midfielders are available 'cause surely Ojo will be moved on.....also the trialist  keeper Foster is an odd one if they knew they were signing Marosi anyway....but finally on squad numbers is it 25 senior players allowed and then reading the future there could still be room in the squad for Noordamus .
