Port Vale v Bromley match thread - 12th April

Yeah the more stick you give McKirdy the better he'll play. He's a pretty good footballer for League 2 level.

What would crush him is zero reaction at all. A sense that he's been forgotten and no one cares about him.

What'll get him going is the sense that he's the main character. I personally wouldn't let him think that but know some will do the honours for him.

McKirdy’s ears will hopefully be buzzing listening to 4,000 Vale fans behind the goal shouting: “W️, w️” every time he touches the ball….

One of the Swindon players said McKirdy cried all night after the penalty miss. Quite literally all night, until sunrise.

There's a sandwich shop type place in Middleport Osh down from the Jolly Carter, they do oatcakes and breakfasts, don't know what time it's open till mate. It's on the same side as Steelite 200 yards further up the road towards Boslem.

Ta Dazzler. Will give it a try as I walk past.

11248 sold for today's game

I think the hamils now sold out

I met Mckirdy on way back from Wembley he was a really nice bloke. Agree with Joe though. The more we boo / wind him up the better he will play. He’s decent for this level and we just need to go about our business and focus on 3 points. Imagine if we had Bradford today, would be looking at 15k for a home vale match.
Immense follow up from vale fans, hopefully the atmosphere is as good as against Bradford and the lads perform

Anyone heard anything from him.

He has a little wobble here and there as we all do.

Hopefully he'll be back soon, the board needs VTID

Onto today lets fking goooooooo Vale 💪

Beautiful day

Vale Park packed with Beautiful Valiants

Lets do this

UTV 💪 KTF 🙏

Club saying Hamil sold out and Railway Stand. There were loads of seats in the latter on the seat map so guessing capacity is quite restricted in that bit. Be great if with walkups we can achieve a home sellout with just the Paddock to go.

I think there's been a long standing lack of transparency over this capacity restriction stuff.

Correct me if I'm wrong as I very well may be but I don't believe there's ever been official word about precisely why they were put in place, and crucially what the long term plan is to remove them.

It absolutely baffles me that Vale have had this enforced upon us, in the context of having been in sold out utterly horrific away ends at Crewe, Hartlepool and Salford in recent years. It doesn't compute.

It needs sorting if we want to continue to progress fanbase wise.

That’s the first time I’ve ever seen someone basically say our ground is to small 😂

There are still many seats left in the railway paddock so don`t be put off coming.

Since Crewe away I’ve been flabbergasted by our capacity restrictions.

The away end is an accident waiting to happen with nowhere near enough facilities and several dangerous bottlenecks which relies on folk not panicking.

If that’s at full capacity then I really struggle to understand why we’re limited.

On the train from Bristol to Stafford, change there for Longport. Should be in TommyC's around 1ish

Anyone know a good Oatcake shop on the way up from Longport...??

Can't wait

Lets hope they can give you the performance you deserve mate
