There are seats in the Lorne Street on both sides.

Indeed. Problem is the lack of access as for the Robbie gig, you got in via the pitch itself. I do hope it gets finished but the gym was in where the fan covered concourse should be.

With the fans moved to the Hamil, you could have a real wall of noise that end of the ground and that part of the Lorne Street could be electric.

I’d love to see it finished properly and if we get more days like today, it will surely have to be.

Slight change of plan. Jumped off at Stjoke station - waiting for a bus to Hanley then on to the Mother Town.

Getting there!!

Burton Albion capacity is quoted as 6912 in Wiki. So if correct below 10,000 and different rules apply. Covered in other threads.

The basic principle is the same no? People per square metre as regards terracing?

The aisles were packed at Salford too. I remember looking around thinking <ovf censored> me this is dangerous at the Tuesday night game in the last promotion season (the one where the 3yr record began, I think Charsley bagged the winner?) because it had rained and the stainless steel flooring of the terraces (genius design choice) was dead slippery.

Terrible feeling about today so hopefully the other results go our way. On paper we should batter these, I just hope the team turns up 🤞🏿

I'll tell what dangerous is Doha, being on the kop in 1964 when Vale played, I was an 11 year old kid at the front with my old man. They picked me up just before kick off and passed me to the back of the Kop over their heads and sat me on a girder.  Took my old man 20 mins to find me, he must have been bricking it.

And when he did, there's me with a big cheesy grin saying I've got great view. 😂😂

There’s a great old photo of kids watching the match sat on the wall between the church and the entrance road into the Lorne street from back in the 60s/70s, I’ll try and find it. Must be a 20ft drop!

Off topic for Bromley but on the brief diversion into old Vale photos, I saw this again recently, I believe it was taken in the Paddock in 1962. I think it’s absolutely brilliant, it could be an album cover for the Smiths.

So 4500 in hamil lorne street 1750 ,150 in away end rest in paddocks .

Darren Moores Black and White army sung for whole game obviously not non stop or we might need some defibrillators in ground .

Will be timing it see how long it goes on for .

11200 ,and still going  as folk still turning up ,I'd open the bycars aswell I'm sure Bromley would have there biggest away following ever  but only problem is 3000 be encouraging the home team lol

The boy in the middle of the three looks like old Pete from the snooker hall
