This is the one.

A possible tweak though. How about swapping Clark to Lwb and John to Rwb.

Think Clark is more happy using either foot.

Good point. I think both can alternate 👍🏻

As disappointing as last night was, let’s not be silly and predict defeats.

Crewe aren’t playing particularly well and, bar Bradford, we’re in the second best form of the automatic chasers.

If Moore starts our best 11, I think we’ll have enough on Saturday.

Bang on 👍🏻

That’s the spirit! I was gutted like everyone else last night trust me! However, as already mentioned by others the teams around us are dropping points, Saturday’s fixtures, including ours, means this will continue. We are well in the fight! Yes, we should have started our strongest 11 last night, a gamble that back fired but, let’s move on! A decent result at Crewe then the Bradford game when I hope fans turn out in numbers as Bradford will bring 3,000 plus. A great game to saviour for all then on to The Yam Yams! All to play for let’s try & enjoy 😉

True mate. I think 5 points from these next 3 games would be a decent return. 6 would be brilliant 🤩 Onto Crewe!

I think form might go out the window for this one, Joe. They will be well up for it, especially with a decent crowd behind them.

If Byers is fit, I’d bring him back in place of Croasdale purely for his ability to keep things ticking in the middle. Walters has been in good form and deserves a start on Saturday.

Against Crewe in a ‘ so called ‘ derby Croasdale is one of the first names on my team sheet. A grafter who works his bollox off & gets stuck in. Not sure this game will come down to football ability but more to who wants it most. I agree on Walters. He’s been a bright spark since he come into the side. Was good again last night as well 👍🏻

The words "Byers" & "fit" need to stop being used in the same sentence, its becoming a joke now & he's hardly pulled up trees when he is "fit". Croasdale for me every time.

John Sang Smith Hall Clark

Crosser Walters

Anything a bonus here.

Still numb and utterly deflated after last night.

When you travel all over of the country and you live 6 miles from Crewe and 5 miles from Vale then it's a Derby in my book.

Small pitch we need to get back to 352.

My starting team would be:

Amos

Deb Smudge Hall

John Croasdale Walters Clarke

       Garrity

Tolaj Stockley

Subs; Broome,Byers,Hart,Rico,Hackford,Sang,Curtis

No room for error after last nights no show.

Every game against promotion rivals feels like a MUST not loose game.

Same city derbies are obviously special, but the vast majority of clubs have to settle for wider distanced ones. Not that Vale have had many same city derbies in the last 60 years.

Which is exactly what Moore will think. I can see a negative draw coming this weekend instead of the attacking attitude we crave.

Well he have 45 minutes to players who were not up to the job on the night although you cannot say much for the other 7 either .

Crewe well bring it on .

It's pretty obvious generally what the team should be but I'd tweak it further ,not tinker actually get hold of the ball in areas where we can be dangerous as we were for most of second half last night .

      Amos

John Smith Hall

Sang  Croasdale Walters R Richards

           Garrity

   Tolaj Stockley

We seem a bit obsessed with playing 3 at the back, when  clearly we have better players than most teams ,John should give you the initial burst from the back then we into midfield quicker and I just think after last night you just got go for it now R Richards well the noise goes through the roof last night when entered fray he hits the byline and that's what it's all about .

It's daring but didn't we look a fantastic football team who on another day hit 5 in one half

Go for it

The Vale end will get behind the players meeting m8 early in spoons .

Bring it on what a weeks football ahead if Vale players cannot get themselves up for Crewe A Bradford H and Walsall A they need find a different career

I'm confident the next headers from Stockley will go in Footballs like that
