These are going incredibly quickly.

Yeah, this'll be "fun", as I've already bought plane tickets for this one, and the Crewe site won't let me buy a ticket 😏
Maybe I'll end up standing outside, listening to Bowers on the radio...

They would be foolish not too

It could buy them another player with what there charging .

One of me mates got mine ,as his other m8 is getting married this year, so cannot go, and usually when I go Crewe Vale win he as loads of points because of what is it 19 away games he must have gone too 14 /15 if not more .

Went with dad one year 5-1 we won, went when Luke Rodgers scored ,and went other year when won 1 -0 a midfielder scoring forget who might have been that lad who went to Morecambe  the lad who played so well in semi and final in play offs ,ain't heard of him for a bit good player no idea who he plays for now .

Go to one of the Burslem pubs. showing it. They will be full of like minded people, so atmosphere will be good. I am.

My first game at Crewe was carnage circa 65/66, someone threw a pint pot at Willie Mailey the Crewe keeper and it smashed on the cross bar causing the game to paused while they cleaned up

It was a Bulls Eye Brown Ale bottle mate. I know this. (nudge,nudge.).

For about my first 40 years following the Vale I never saw a crwho fan before or after the game at the Alexandra Stadium. Mind you I can understand why. In those days it was 90% pay on the day and no segregation. The ravening Vale hoardes used to descend on the town in their thousands, not always on their best behavior. Nowadays of course things are vastly different and football these days is welcoming and safe for families, which it certainly wasn't in yesteryear.

If we can win our 2 home games I would be happy with a draw there.

I want revenge and for us to beat them.  Shut the little <ovf censored> bar stewards up.

Why on earth would anyone buy a plane ticket before they’ve purchased a match ticket 🤣

For the older fans amongst us, did Vale win 5-1 at Gresty Rd in the late 70s with one Bernie Wright (Bernie's evil!) netting a hat-trick? Perhaps I've dreamt it?

Yes we did, late 70s and again in the league cup in the mid 90s. In the mid 90s game from memory,  Crewe scored first and I was right behind the net, the ball came back out of the net and Danny Murphy pummeled it again. It was instinct to duck even though the net was there and Murphy laughed his socks off at me.  Later in the game in the game when we were winning he came and stood by the post for a corner, needless to say I let rip with "who's laughing now Murphy" 😂😂

On that video you can just see Murphy steaming in, on the right of their number 11, after their goal.

Jeez, I've found the video, I'm the one in dark blue next to the bloke in the stripe shirt. Just to the left of our keeper, you see my head duck down when Murphy knocks it back in.
