Yeah just seen. Only Donny & Grimsby on the site I’ve just looked on have a better away record. Not bad going is it. Super Vale Away

Third best away record because we've played an extra away game, technically, we were at 6th before today. Also 6 of our away wins came in our first 9 away games so it really comes down to the otherworldly stretch of form we started the season with.

Obviously who cares, massive 3 points today and an absolutely huge result. Just wish we got at least 1 from Barrow, this style of football we play is fine when we scrape by with an important away win but pretty disgusting when we can't score against poor opposition at home.

Anyone else absolutely buzzing with today’s win 😁 Might even order a Chinese & get the Dalmatian plate out!

You must be joking? Pretty even game, but it was a classic away win against a good side.

Nah, they will feel they deserved a point and I wouldn't disagree with that. Don't get me wrong great result but it wasn't a great performance by any stretch.

That was never a smash and grab. Perfect 2nd half away performance

There were two halves I was commenting on the match as a whole not half of it.

Performances are of course irrelevant at this stage....

JUST the returns.....

👍❤️

On another note - first time I've been in that side stand. Appalling facilities and an accident waiting to happen. That narrow thoroughfare behind the seats was packed like sardines at half time. All the fans funnelled down one set of steps. Nowhere near enough space around the bars, which are on top of the turnstiles and the toilets.

You have to hope Crewe never hit the big time as that stand simply can't accommodate that many fans.

Which is exactly why I was sitting in the big home stand, Joe. That Away stand is a disaster waiting to happen.

I’ll give Bell his credit, he out-thought us first half. Can’t believe Crewe fans are so critical of him.

Completely vacated the midfield, knowing we’d go man to man, dragging Walters and Croasdale out wide and leaving a chasm through the middle to ping it through. Always had an extra player deep on their left so Sang was 1v2. Lowery and Holicek were problematic. We didn’t know who to press or track. Garrity was lost.

As he’s said, they had to score then. Their final ball is non-league and their strikers Sunday league. If Stockley plays for them we probably lose today.

The longer it went on the better we looked. Fitness, belief, and individual quality.

Genuinely, I hope there’s never a fire drill or emergency evacuation. It’s so poorly set up. Can’t believe it’s legal for that many fans.

That went well 🤣🤣🤣🤣

The ultra cautious approach works okay for  away matches but it's the home games we've got to be more adventurous with our tactics if we want automatic promotion that's just my point of view
