From today's league 2 games I'd just be happy to see Carlisle not loose at Donny!!

Kiss of DEATH incoming....👍🤣

Another Moore masterclass and it's now 4 wins from 7.

By this - 4 wins will see us up, imo. We don't need to go into Tuesday needing a win. It was massive today.

Didn't think Stockley was having a good game but put in an absolute peach of a cross that should have been converted before grabbing his vital goal.

Crewe will feel hard done by and deserved at least a point, but <ovf censored> them, they should have been down to 10 men early in the second half. I thought Walters had some good moments before tiring, and Richards made a big difference off the bench. Their defence doesn't like pace and movement.

Wasn't easy on the eye but I don't think it matters at this part of the season. Give me another scrappy and fortunate 1-0 at home to Bradford next week all day, every day.

I guess all that matters in football is the key moments at the important points of games.

From the final 20 onwards, only one team looked like scoring. Crewe had seemingly tired out/bottled it, and after Rico and Croasdale's misses, you could sense the tide had turned.

It's seemingly how Moore approaches football. The current paradigm seems to be 'aim to dominate for as long as possible', which Crewe attempted to do. Lowery looked a good player and they were dragging our midfielders all over the place first half. They couldn't finish their dinner at VP and were even worse today.

Moore would argue that we kept things tight for the majority of game, and then when a goal can virtually guarantee you points, we stepped on the pedal. Crewe at that point were fully gone and didn't even threaten in the ten added.

It's strange. Completely counter-intuitive to how we've come to watch football, but this Port Vale team score too many late, important goals for it to be an accident. Another Moore masterclass and it's now 4 wins from 7.

It's our second away win in 10 games. When it works it works but it's not consistent

It tends to work in tough games against strong opponents. Thats why Moore excels. It’s in games we should be winning he struggles

On another note - first time I've been in that side stand. Appalling facilities and an accident waiting to happen. That narrow thoroughfare behind the seats was packed like sardines at half time. All the fans funnelled down one set of steps. Nowhere near enough space around the bars, which are on top of the turnstiles and the toilets.

You have to hope Crewe never hit the big time as that stand simply can't accommodate that many fans.

A draw would be a great result on Tuesday. A win massive

AS I typed, Donny scored...🤔😂

Think it’s 8 away wins now all season. Not sure how many teams have a better record than that, the season is over 46 games mate not 10

Third best away record in the league, one point behind the best.

Yeah just seen. Only Donny & Grimsby on the site I’ve just looked on have a better away record. Not bad going is it. Super Vale Away

Get in!!!!!!

Still think we’re going down something stupid though here.

C’mon now concentrate!!!!

Seriously

Even celebrating a goal u can’t help but be a negative <ovf censored> from biddulph

Barring a catastrophic last 7 games by Vale, the win today and the fixtures of Colchester, Crewe and Salford likely  tees up at least a play off place.

Said that every time I’ve sat in there. Horrendous when it’s so full like that.
